I hate fat people like you!
—Hate? Really? Wow, I’m flattered, it takes a lot of energy to hate someone, so I must be special!

Curvy actress wants to play Princess of the Amazons, Wonder Woman!

During an interview with New York Magazine the voluptuous actress was asked whether she would accept the role in the potential cinematic adaptation of the popular 70’s show. Here is what she said…
Sure! I grew up on the TV show, and I had Wonder Woman Underoos, and my brother had a Wonder Woman doll — sorry, Aaron, you’re exposed. [Giggles.] And Nicolas said, when we were on set, “I want you to be Wonder Woman.” And I think he is such an extraordinary and exceptional director, that if he asked me to do it, I would do it in a heartbeat.

Wouldn’t it be great if you could buy a new outfit every day? This is one of my favourite dreams but sadly isn’t feasible on my current wage (donations accepted).
Soon I’ll be facing the big bad world on my own, I have my first flat. At the moment I’m scraping woodchip wallpaper and packing away all my dearest memories from my parent’s home. I’m wearing a stylish pair of cut off shorts and a tank top with a nameless green stain (not to mention a neon pink wig I can’t remember buying and I never wore on any Halloween) but I’m on a total fashion high. Why? I have found my Eden, right at the back of my very compact closet. 21 years of clothes once thought of so fondly but I regret, have been long forgotten and neglected. I have come across a million scarves (my addiction), countless shoes and a myriad of fashion mistakes. Both beautiful and horrendous purchases from the past have spread across my whole bedroom and I am delighted to report that a few will be saved from this pointless way of life and be put back to good use. A few items have made the cut and will be travelling with me to our new abode, a few will find new and better homes with people can love them like I never could (and for a reasonable price to boot) . I’d like to spare a thought for those bits and pieces which could not be saved, for one reason or another, their time is up and their existence in this world as wearable clothing has come to an end. RIP my purple poncho, if you hadn’t been gashed open you would have served me well this coming winter.
My top tip for today is to look in your closets. You too could have the perfect winter outfit just waiting to be discovered. Give clothes that don’t fit you to charity, customise clothes you like but could love, and throw away that pair of jeans with the bleach mark on the bum.

Great ideal but is it possible?
Of course it is, dummy! Welcome to the real world. Everybody comes in different shapes and sizes and yes, you do deserve to look as fabulous as everyone else. More and more shops are carrying plus size ranges to cater to their plumper patrons and bigger girls are starting to embrace their bodies rather than hiding behind ghastly oversized slacks that skulk at the back of all our closets. Gone are the days of shapeless shirts and baggy briefs. This is a fat revolution!
Ahem…
I’m not here to pass on my views of what women should look like. Being a big lass I, too, have had my own personal fight with fashion. From looking trampy to frumpy, one extreme to the other, I tried disguising my body in every trend going. So what have I discovered? Stop dressing for other people. Stop following the trends and being embarrassed about the results. Stop wasting my money on clothes I hate. When I stopped putting so much pressure on myself and started dressing for me then I found that I looked better- or more to the point I felt better and it showed! Fashion, after all, is supposed to be fun, so we need to stop making it such a chore!
Be kind to your body and love yourself (corny!).
